health deals with all aspects of health and safety in the workplace and has a
strong focus on primary prevention of hazards. The health of the workers has
several determinants, including risk factors at the workplace leading to
cancers, accidents, musculoskeletal diseases, respiratory diseases, hearing
loss, circulatory diseases, stress related disorders and communicable diseases
and others.

health nursing is a field within the nursing discipline that involves
developing business health and safety programs or observing workers who have
been injured on-the-job

can create the diseases are also known as industrial health hazards. industrial
health hazards may be classified is physical hazards, chemical hazards,
biological hazards, mechanical hazards and psychological hazards .

have direct effect of heat Cold on workers apart from temperature, light, noise
vibration by machines, radiation all are physical hazards to which industrial workers
are exposed.

Chemicals may lead to to many disorders by local action on the skin dust, metals and their compounds for sometime due to
injestion accidentally or inhalation as smoke.
Biological Hazard
-Biological Hazard includes specially in industries where animals or birds
are used such as poultry farms, Dairy farms, agriculture and laboratories where
experiment and research on animals is being done.
Mechanical hazards
-Mechanical hazards is the main health hazard in the industries where machines
are used to manufacture the products. sharp parts of the Machines or moving
parts of the machine pose health hazard to the the worker for accidents and
injuries
Psychological hazard
-Psychological hazard this hazard is is seen in almost all the the workplace
setting due to lake of job satisfaction environmental Frustration in security
poor woman relations emotional tension except which problems leads to
psychological and behavioral changes including hostility aggressiveness anxiety
depression alcoholism .

poisoning like lead poisoning, Mercury poisoning, cadmium poisoning, alkalosis,
acidosis
Diseases due to biological agents-
Brucellosis, leptospirosis, tetanus and
fungal infection.
